Hotel Accommodation
A five storey MetFrame structure commencing with MetFrame to part of the ground floor and then all further structures, including the roof (flat and pitched).
The walls and pitched roof structure within the existing facade are a combination of MetFrame walls, a hot rolled steel frame and 200mm deep MetFrame roof joists/purlins fixed to the existing masonry to offer support for the existing structure.
The structure staggered as the building became taller with a combination of lightweight and concrete roof terraces. Oriel window structures were formed as a single welded hot rolled steel frame.
